Uncharted 4 Will Get A Co-Op Mode Next Month

Uncharted 4 has been a success, it’s single-player experience is great, and multiplayer content is always being added. But for mid-December, we will be getting a bigger chunk of content with a new co-op mode. Dubbed the Survivor mode, you and two others will team and fight an onslaught, 50 waves of enemies to be exact. Played in 10 different maps with its own progression system, Survivor has its ties with some story elements in the main story from the single-player campaign as well.

Check out the trailer below:

To put it simply, it’s Horde Mode. Certain waves have special rulesets, pistols only for example, with every 10 waves being a boss fight. Three different difficulties are available, with the final Crushing difficulty unlocked once you cleared Survival on Hard.

Seems like a nice addition, considering it’s free. This was the co-op mode that developers Naughty Dog promised to be added around Autumn 2016 in their roadmap. Good to see they are trying their best to adhere to that schedule (or rather, provide an accurate enough ETA of all the features to be arrived).
