Originally released back in 2006, the remake includes a new season campaign and daily track selection (perhaps like GT Sport’s dailies system) and a revamped track-creation, now with the track objects and special blocks snapping into place for fluid track creation. The look of the game have also changed, making it more futuristic both in car and track design. A good decision I might add.
Ubisoft is also pushing for a competition angle, making players have easy access to the Casual cups or Grand Final Leagues and will be advertising them onto the in-game tracks background.
The new Trackmania remake will release on May 5 for PC, with no mentions of a console version release.
