AMD’s refresh of CPUs (and GPUs) are here. The new, 3rd-gen AMD Ryzen processors are built on the new Zen 2 7nm architecture and promise better performance with less power use.
This generation sees the introduction of the Ryzen 9, the top-of-the-line spec CPU to compete with Intel’s Core i9 offering.
Here’s the pricing of the new 3rd-gen Ryzen in Malaysia:
- Ryzen 5 3600: RM859
- Ryzen 5 3600X: RM1069
- Ryzen 7 3700X: RM 1399
- Ryzen 7 3800X: RM 1799
- Ryzen 9 3900X: RM2199
In addition, there’s also the new Ryzen 3000 APUs. These are not based on Zen 2 despite the same 3000 naming, However, these are mighty cheap and comes with an embedded Vega graphics processor, perfect for a budget build. Here are the prices:
- Ryzen 3 3200G: RM429
- Ryzen 5 3400G: RM679
