What a surprise.
It looks like Bandai Namco is bringing Tekken onto the mobile platform once again with the interestingly titled “Tekken”. But unlike the previous game (which was a Card-based fighter), this seems to follow the footsteps of Capcom’s Street Fighter IV release a month back and looks to be a fully fledged fighting game. But there’s a catch.
It’s a Free-to-Play title.
It’s going to be interesting to see how Namco does with giving out characters based on their rarity.
So, to those wanting to try it right away, it’s currently in Soft Launch on the Canadian Google Play/ App Store with expected roll-outs to our stores later in the coming weeks. You can preregister (and received a secret characters if the milestone hits!) here on their website.
