Summer Games Done Quick, the annual speedrunning event, has concluded. And the 2019 edition has raised over 3 million USD (over RM12 million) for Doctors Without Borders. The event was held in Minneapolis, USA and also broadcasted to Twitch with over 150,000 peak concurrent viewers.

Last year, SGDQ raised over 2.1 million USD. So that’s one million more of fundraising, all for charity.

Games Done Quick will be running a quick event called Games Done Quick Express, to be held in conjunction with Twitchcon on September 27th-29th. The other tentpole event, Awesome Games Done Quick, is set for next January.
