We’ve seen games about the evils of an EDM Empire. Now we’re getting a game about EDM as a spooky horror experience.
Strobophagia: Rave Horror brings a new macabre twist to the raving experience. Developed by Green Tile Digital, the game has you play as a raver attending the Headless Rave Festival. It’s held in the middle of the forest, and the cost of entry is your own life.
The first-person horror title will have you use an in-game smartphone app to solve puzzles and connect with fellow ravers who are too trapped in a party neon woods of horror.
It’s an interesting mash of two things you never thought to see: EDM and psychedelic horror. But that’s what these indie developers from Sweden is doing. Expect some new head-banging tunes too if you’re a fan of electronic dance music.
Strobophagia: Rave Horror launches on PC (Steam) on October 28, just in time for Halloween. A free demo is currently available on the Steam page too.
