Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Coming Out On November 15th

Trust Only In The Force

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has now been officially revealed. At the Star Wars Celebration happening this weekend, the first cinematic trailer has been debuted.

Jedi: Fallen Order takes places between Episode III and IV, where Order 66 has been executed which led to the fall of the Jedi Order. Surviving members, including our playable character padawan Cal Kestis, has been blending with society. Until events of the game set off for an adventure to rediscover the Jedi. And also be chased around by the Empire’s Inquisitor and Purge Troopers.

Have a look at the trailer:

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is described as an “action-melee” game with thoughtful combat on the reveal panel. Stig Asmussen of God Of War 3 fame is heading up the project as game director, as was teased when he first joined Respawn three years ago.

While no gameplay is shown, there is confirmation that Cal gets to use Force powers and upgrade the lightsaber he uses throughout the game. The trailer, however, is using in-game assets running in Unreal 4.

Before the reveal, it has also been clarified that the game is single-player only with no micro-transactions.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is not your typical EA game in this regard, which have usually used Frostbite and has live services built-in. And Respawn still has a solid track record so far. So there’s something to be excited about this game should it comes out as good as it should be.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be out on November 15th for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
