It looks like nautical nonsense is something we all wish for more, as THQ Nordic announced a new SpongeBob SquarePants platformer.
At the THQ Nordic 10th anniversary stream, SpongeBob SquarePants The Cosmic Shake is announced. Teased with having the trailer plays the Sweet Victory Song, this new game will see SpongeBob getting costume powers. 30, to be precise, from the likes of caveman SpongeGar to the absolutely cursed SnailBob.
SpongeBob, accompanied by a tiny floating Balloon-Patrick will be opening up portals to different Wishworlds (7 of them) to save their friends and the town of Bikini Bottom after the world is being torn open by the fabric of space and time.
The trailer making a big deal of the Sweet Victory song is for another good reason, The Cosmic Shake will feature 101 songs from the Nickelodeon animated series, as well as having all the original voice actors reprise their roles for the game.
Developers Purple Lamp, the folks responsible for remastering SpongeBob SquarePants Battle For Bikini Bottom, are responsible for SpongeBob SquarePants The Cosmic Shake.
The game is set for release soon for PS4, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
