The tone is loosely based in Saturday morning cartoons of yore, which explains the G.I. Joe-like assemble cast (and public service announcements) , just with more swearing in the mix.
If you’re in the mood for a fun mindless shooter it’s a solid game, though if you’re expecting an open world romp ala Saints Row this will prove disappointing. Reviews are a bit mixed, so be sure to check them first before diving in.
