Capcom has announced Resident Evil 7 during the Playstaion E3 conference. The game is focusing towards a first person “Isolated View” rather the Third-person and fixed camera perspective of the old games. The game is now running on a new RE engine that makes the game’s trailer eerily realistic.

Not much is known about the story but the game will release on 24th January 2017 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
