Resident Evil 7 Demo Is Getting An Update, New Trailer

Still waiting for Resident Evil 7? With Resident Evil 4,5, and 6 all already released on the PS4 and Xbox One, the upcoming survival horror sequel is still on its way for a January 2017 release. To keep you on your toes, Capcom released a new trailer at Tokyo Game Show and, surprisingly, updated the game’s original demo.

First, here’s the new trailer:

For the demo update, (which is properly titled as: Resident Evil 7 Teaser: The Beginning Hour) nothing new in particular was hinted at, so it’s better for you to just delve in and seek out what’s new yourself- maybe there’s something to do with the mysterious finger? The demo will now be available to all PS4 users, instead of just PS Plus subscribers.

Resident Evil 7 is doubling down on the first-person horror vibe the more we see it. Maybe it did what Resident Evil 4 did by breaking the existing mould and be well excepted? We won’t know for sure until the full game comes out on PS4 and PC this January. In the meantime, enjoy the updated demo.
