Rashid of the Turbulent Wind will be the first DLC character to hit the streets of Street Fighter 6, the first of four as part of the Year 1 Character Pass.
Debuted in Street Fighter V, Rashid’s stylish playstyle, Middle East origins, and that banger of a character theme, cements him as a fan-favourite.
The gameplay trailer here shows off not only his new look for Street Fighter 6, but also his moveset.
And apparently, we can add Rashid as another fighting game character who’s also a content creator.
Rashid’s original getup in Street Fighter V is seen at the end, suggesting that this will be his Outfit 2. All returning characters in the roster have a throwback costume for their Outfit 2 option.
There isn’t a new stage accompanying Rashid’s return. All the scenes we see here are from Old Nayshall, including a cinematic where he does parkour in the open world featured in the World Tour mode.
Rashid will be available to Year 1 Character Pass owners, as well as those with the Deluxe and Ultimate Edition of Street Fighter 6, starting July 24.
Ahead of Rashid’s arrival, a new Fighting Pass (battle pass) is now available with new unlocks.
