Kuro Game’s mobile action-RPG Punishing: Gray Raven is getting released in more regions later this summer. The mobile game with seemingly character action-style combat, inspired by the likes of Nier Automata and Bayonetta first released in 2019 will be available in English with this upcoming launch.
To get the hype train rolling, the devs have shared trailers for the first three characters. Lucia, Liv and Lee are full-body cyborgs, called Constructs, tasked to fight the Corrupted.
The trailers, each featuring hand-drawn artwork, Japanese voiceover and a little glimpse of gameplay, goes into the motivation of each of the three.
This is for Lucia, captain of the Gray Raven squad and fights with swords:
Next is Liv, the support unit who can handle fights herself using floating Levi-guns.
Lastly, here’s Lee, the eldest of the Gray Raven, and resident techie that fights with dual guns blazing.
