It has been almost a year since the first launch of the Playstation VR headset, one of the cheapest VR headsets for gaming available for consumers. Relatively cheap, that is. It costs RM1848 at launch for the headset alone, and the bundle that includes the Playstation Camera, mandatory for the headset to work, was RM2029.
Thankfully, an official price drop has arrived. Beginning September 1 the PS VR and Playstation Camera bundle is now priced at RM1749. That’s a RM280 price drop from the original bundle, and is also much cheaper than its standalone price.
So if you’re in the mood of getting one now is the right time to do so, especially if you have an active PS Plus subscription this month (for Asia only) since we will be getting RIGS- the VR multiplayer game by the now-defunct Guerrilla Games Cambridge studio.
