Microsoft started its E3 press conference by announcing the Xbox One S, and ended with a firm confirmation of the codenamed Scorpio Xbox One that was rumoured to be in development, is real.
Xbox head honcho Phil Spencer directly addresses it, shows a trailer confirming all the details rumoured earlier like the processing power amounting to 6 terraflops, and reassures everyone that all the Xbox Ones will still be supported and “not left behind”. The new Xbox One will be coming at the end of next year.
This was the video being shown.
Based on the reaction on the showfloor, everyone seems happy with the announcement. The way Microsoft is selling its message is what most of us would want to hear, so hopefully they will stick to its messaging.
