Pokemon Sun & Moon have officially been revealed for Holidays 2016.
Following leaks of the trademarks yesterday, the Pokemon Direct today unveiled the next pair of entries in the acclaimed series.
In addition to the new games, Nintendo also announced that the original Red, Blue and Yellow versions are coming to the eShop tomorrow, with the welcome change that Pokemon caught or traded in these Virtual Console versions will now be transferable to its successors via the Pokebank.

This was previously impossible due to the original Gameboy’s hardware, with the Gameboy Advance versions onwards featuring cross-platform trade. Trainers will now be able to relive their classic memories and bring the original 151 Pokemon into the new era.
Scheduled for Holiday 2016, details about Pokemon Sun and Moon are still a mystery, it is indeed exciting times for fans all over the world.
