Park Beyond Gets 2.0 Patch, Prefab Sharing And First DLC In September

Park Beyond, Limbic Entertainment’s wild but a little flawed theme park builder and management sim is getting a big update next month.

Dubbed Patch 2.0, the update promises performance improvements, better modular building and more. But most importantly, there will be a rework on visitor flow.

Visitor behaviour is one of our big gripes of Park Beyond as stated in our review, and while a recent patch has somewhat addressed this, it looks like a bigger overhaul is coming.

Also coming next month is the ability to share parks and prefabs. For those who have make use of modular building to create their own custom prop or store design, you can upload them to be shared cross-platform. The features is powered by mod.io.

And finally, the first paid DLC pack will arrive for Park Beyond. The Beyond Extreme Theme World takes some inspo from extreme sports enthusiast Blaize, so expect hardcore adrenaline-inducing rides with an edgy ’90s “eXtreme” aesthetic.

All of this will drop on the same day, September 29.

Park Beyond is out now on PS5, PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X|S.
