Overcooked! All You Can Eat Edition Coming To PS4, Xbox One, Switch And PC This March

Remember the 2-in-1 combo meal that was Overcooked! All You Can Eat Edition? It was released only for next-gen consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X|S) last November.

Now Team17 announced that it’s also coming to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC as well.

The All You Can Eat Edition is the definitive edition of 4-player co-op chaos games Overcooked! 1 and 2. You play as chefs making dishes in very weird kitchens that will force you to communicate and work together with fellow chefs… or see everything end up in flames.

This edition includes all the levels from the two games (including all the DLCs), characters and also new accessibility options, including a scalable UI and dyslexia-friendly text font. Neat stuff.

Overcooked! All You Can Eat will later add cross-play multiplayer in a post-launch update.

However, it looks like there’s no upgrade path for this last-gen release. There’s no mention of a free next-gen upgrade to the PS5/ Xbox Series version. And you will need to rebuy this edition even if you did previously owned Overcooked 1 and 2 to receive the new additions, including a limited-time free unlock of Sesame Street’s Swedish Chef.

At least for you trophy/achievement hunters, there’s a whole new set of trophy/achievements to unlock.

Still, if you’re stuck with the current console hardware but want to try a co-op multiplayer that’s fun for the whole family (or sow chaos among your mates), this version of Overcooked is the one to get.

Overcooked! All You Can Eat Edition will be released on March 23 for the PS4, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
