No Season Pass For Mass Effect Andromeda

Season passes were the way publishers used to charge money for bulks of additional content. We usually know too little about it to make the price justified and the quality of it can be a hit or miss.

Publishers EA has recently moved away from season passes in their latest titles (Titanfall 2, Need For Speed 2015 and many others) and Mass Effect: Andromeda is no exception.

This was confirmed from a BioWare general manager Aaryn Flynn’s Twitter. When asked more on details of DLC, he simply states that it will be talked about later.

So for those who plan to pick up Andromeda, no need to worry of forking more money upfront for content we don’t if it’s any good. Season pass as trend is slowly dying for games that don’t do seasons of content, which is a good thing.

It’s better if we have more talking points on the game itself rather than its DLC right now though, as it is going to be released really soon. March 21 is not that far away.
