No More Heroes III Announced For The Nintendo Switch

After a cryptic tweet by Director Suda51, last night’s E3 Nintendo Direct had a surprise reveal of No More Heroes III, exclusive for the Nintendo Switch.

Set 10 years after the events of the original No More Heroes, the game will have Robin Atkin Downes reprise his role as Travis Touchdown as he encounters a floating metropolis in the sea and a giant object floating over the city.

”After the Nintendo Switch unveiling conference in 2017, we released Travis Strikes Again this year, and now we are finally able to make the dream of No More Heroes III a reality,” says director Goichi Suda, or Suda51.

“We’re working hard on development day in and day out to ensure that NMHIII goes above and beyond the expectations of all the fans who have been waiting for the game for so long, and we’re going to be rolling it out in 2020. May the Switch be with you!”

The game trailer shows off that much of the aesthetic of No More Heroes is still intact, particularly with the Travis’ referential sense of humor.

The game launches exclusively for Nintendo Switch some time in 2020.
