Nintendo Switch is so close to launch, and now we have what will probably be its last bit of news until the portable console will be available. This last bit of showcase targets the one major problem about the Switch: the list of games coming to it, particularly at launch.
Evidently there were not as many third party games announced as one would hope so far, let alone games that will be ready in the launch window, but rest assured Nintendo has lined up a pretty good list of indie games (or as they like to call it “Nindies”) that will be available in 2017.
Here’s the full list of games that was just revealed in the Nindies showcase video. Some of these are world premiers, Switch exclusives, limited-time exclusives and will feature exclusive features on the Switch:
- SteamWorld Dig 2
- Yooka-Laylee
- Overcooked!
- The Escapists 2
- Gonner
- Dandara
- Kingdom Two Crowns
- Runner 3
- Blaster Master Zero
- Flipping Death
- Graceful Explosion Machine
- Mr. Shifty
- TumbleSeed
- Shakedown: Hawaii

Here are the other games that didn’t get a spot in the video presentation but has been confirmed for the Switch based on the infographic in the header:

- Mutant Mudds
- NeuroVoider

- Perception
That’s at least 62 indie games already confirmed for the Switch. Some of these games like Fast RMX and Shovel Knight will be available in the e-Shop at launch.
The good number of indies heading to the Switch should at least be a good sign that Nintendo is doing what they can to bring in the third parties to develop for the Switch. It may not have tons of killer apps of the AAA variety just yet, but of the 62 games listed here, at least a few of these are worth looking forward to.
