New WRC 10 Trailer Shows Off Its New Livery Editor And It’s A Proper One

A new trailer for Nacon and KT Racing’s upcoming WRC 10 has one thing to show: a livery editor. This is a brand new feature for the long-running annual rally game series featuring the full license of the World Rally Championship.

And this isn’t a Codemasters’ definition of a livery editor which is some choices of colour and pre-made decals. WRC 10 lets you place multiple layers of decals and resize them to your liking to create your own rally car.

This is more up in line with what you expect to see from a livery editor in most modern racing game series like Gran Turismo, both Forza games and Need For Speed. This means that, with some patience and talent, you can possibly create an itasha in WRC 10. Or recreate other iconic rally liveries.

Players can slap on custom liveries on all the WRC, WRC 2, WRC 3, Junior WRC and even the historical cars. And this can be used on all the modes, in particular the Career Mode where you get to run your own rally team.

WRC 10 will be out on September 2 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It will also be coming later to Nintendo Switch.
