Two new trailers for the Director’s Cut edition of Ghost Of Tsushima has been released, highlighting the big selling point of this new release available for the PS4 and PS5 versions: the Iki Island expansion.
The trailers, in English and Japanese dubs, shows what lead Jin into going to the new island- it has to do with stopping the Mongol invasion.
The Japanese dub with lip-sync is weirdly a PS5-only feature, and the trailer makes use of PS5 footage, but if you can play through the PS4 version without even noticing the lips not syncing with the JP dub, it should be fine.
Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut will launch on August 20 for PS4 and PS5.
It is available as a new release, or an upgrade for PS4 and PS5 for owners of the base game. Note that the PS5 version is not a free next-gen upgrade, but you can totally just play the PS4 version via backwards compatibility without making use of the snazzy PS5-only features.
