It’s another wave of new games getting added to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. And we’re getting… wait, only three new games?
Granted, the additions here are games that are on the radar of many mainstream gamers. Life Of P, the Victorian-themed soulslike based on the tall tale of Pinocchio. Then there’s Solar Ash, the cool indie adventure from the devs of Hyper Light Drifter first released last year. And of course, Starfield.
And there were stealth additions to the lineup before this announcement, so it’s not just three games being added to Game Pass. But it does feel like the subscription service has slowly becoming less generous when it comes to new additions. And the pace of games leaving the service isn’t slowing down.
Here’s the games being added on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass for the first half of September 2023, plus games that got added in-between these reveals by Xbox Wire (bold indicates launching day-one on Game Pass):
- August 24
- Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition (Cloud and Console)
- August 31
- Call of the Wild: The Angler (Cloud, Console, PC)
- September 6
- Starfield (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S)
- September 14
- Solar Ash (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- September 19
- Lies of P (Cloud, Console, and PC)
