New AMD Radeon Driver Adds Optimisations For Halo Infinite, Fortnite And More

A new AMD Radeon driver is now available to download. Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.12.1 adds support and optimisations for the upcoming FPS Halo Infinite, Fortnite and the new survival game by the creator of DayZ called Icarus.

The new driver should boost up 4K resolution gameplay performance on Halo Infinite on Radeon RX 6700, RX 6800 and RX 6900 graphic cards, up to 16%, 19% and 17% respectively.

The driver doesn’t add much other than that, but if you’re going to explore the Zeta Halo when the single-player campaign of Halo Infinite drops tomorrow, or want to squeeze more performance in the now-available free-to-play multiplayer mode, it’s time to update the driver if you are using team red’s GPU.

You can find the full patch notes here. You can download the latest Radeon Software Adrenalin from the app itself, or from here.
