NEO: The World Ends with You Launches On July 27 For PS4, Switch – Also Coming To PC

NEO: The World Ends with You, is a follow-up to the Nintendo DS title The World Ends With You. Originally revealed last year, we now have a release date for this new entry. And the news that it’s also coming to PC via the Epic Games Store.

NEO: The World Ends with You sees a new cast of characters taking part in the Reapers’ Game, a life-and-death battle where slick and stylish street kids fight monsters in the streets of Shibuya.

NEO will follow the story of the new character Rindo, who’s recently got pulled into joining the Reapers’ Game.

Similar to the original, there will be a stylish action battles in this RPG, with a pins system and teammate choice to choose from. The pins carry different powers, with over 300 to collect and use.

Exploration and battles take place in a 3D world this time, but story cutscenes are still delivered in a 2D comic book style, with the very recognisable character design style by Tetsuya Nomura. Composer Takeharu Ishimoto will be returning from the previous title in making NEO’s soundtrack.

NEO: The World Ends with You will be out on July 27 for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch. It will arrive on PC (Epic Games Store) later in summer (Q3) this year.
