More Cunning Stunts Races, New Adversary Modes And Cars Coming To GTA Online

Prepare for blast off! If you love the crazy Trackmania-esque stunt tracks that was introduced back last year, GTA Online will be adding more Stunt Races coming this month.

The new races will utilise Special Vehicles, particularly the ridiculously rocket-powered electric car Rocket Voltic, the car that may or may not be based on a particular TV show Ruiner 2000, and the amphibious Blazer Aqua. Expect to see the races use the unique characteristics of these vehicles, and track creators will have access to these vehicles to craft your own tracks and share it to the community.

More adversary mode will be added as well. One interesting mode will be called Top Down and will involve “a nostalgic homage to the 2D GTA era with some explosive twists”. A top down view with twin stick controls ala the first two GTA, perhaps?

Speaking of nostalgic homages, the Turismo Classic and Infernus Classic will be added. While there is a version of the Turismo and Infernus already, these two classic variants will take design cues from their earlier renditions. The Infernus for example, debuted in Grand Theft Auto III with a radically different look to its current counterpart. Those two cars will join the new Progen GP1 (pictured above) supercar that will be added to the game.

As for further future plans, Rockstar is hinting another big update down the line. It will be featuring “brand new weaponised vehicles and exciting new missions, get ready to fight for supremacy in the illegal arms trade and wage war with the latest in high-powered military hardware.” A military themed DLC is likely from the sound of it, but we will sure here more of this in upcoming months.

Rockstar is still supporting the GTA Online, and this recent news should keep fans and players happy. But if you specific feedback on the game, you can send in to Rockstar over this link here.
