McLaren Unveils Its Vision Gran Turismo Car With No Driver Seat

Gran Turismo’s Vision Gran Turismo program is still ongoing, where car designers from various marques are asked to design the ultimate GT car. A lot of the designs were made for Gran Turismo 6, and some of these concept cars eventually became a reality like the Bugatti Chiron, which started its life as a Vision GT car.

Now McLaren is joining the fun and has now unveiled their take of a Vision GT car. The McLaren Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo is powered by a 4 litre V8 engine with up to 1,134hp, has a hybrid drivetrain, and no driver seats. No, it’s not an autonomous car. Rather, the one driver in this machine will have to lie down inside the cockpit.

The McLaren Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo will join the stable of 150+ cars when Gran Turismo Sport is finally released on October 17.
