Marvel VS Capcom Infinite Announced For 2017

If you ask “WHEN’S MAHVEL?” then your answer is 2017. The rumours are true, Capcom managed to get a working relationship with Marvel again and making a new Marvel VS Capcom. This was revealed at the Playstation Experience presentation. Titled as Marvel VS Capcom Infinite, it’s now a 2v2 fighting game rather than 3v3, with Ryu, Mega Man, Iron Man and Captain Marvel featured in the official first look.

Take a look below:

The name choice is interesting. It’s either they want to portray the infinite possibilities of Marvel and Capcom mashups. Or maybe they will keep their word on making the game a service, like Street Fighter V, where content is added over time rather than asking players to buy new versions of the similar game. (Hopefully no infinite combos anymore)

And yes, the game will shipped with story mode and arcade mode. Good to see them learning from the missteps that Street Fighter had on launch.

Marvel VS Capcom Infinite will be available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2017.
