Level Up KL 2019 Happening This November, Will Be Open To Public

In an event held earlier today, the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (more commonly known as MDEC) has announced that they are organizing another LEVEL UP event right in the heart of KL this November.

CEO of MDEC, Madam Surina Shukri, has stated that the latest iteration of the event plays a key role to project a positive image of gaming to the public, and gathers the conversations about the global games industry and eSports from the likes of the developers, players, community and even the government. This is to ensure a better understanding of the regional ecosystem and how to develop it.

This year’s edition will see LEVEL UP running up to 5 days from November 6 to 10, with the weekend of the event being open to the public at KL Convention Centre, with the show being compared to Tokyo Game Show and Gamescom (which coincidentally is also creating a Asia variation next year).

The entry price is stated to be only RM 10 per day along with eSports tournaments, talks and workshops being held at the event too.

Also present there was Malaysia’s Minister of Communication and Multimedia, YB Tuan Gobind Singh, who was there to officiate the event.
