Launch! Gundam Versus Has a Western Release, And It’s This Year

Newtypes rejoice, the latest iteration of the Mobile Suit Gundam’s arcade fighter games is not only coming out, it’s getting a western localization, too. In a new trailer posted on 27th April, Bandai Namco EU’s Youtube channel talks about many of the new features coming to Gundam Versus.

The game sports 2v2 and 3v3 combat,and a wide array of mobile suits from various gundam anime including recent additions Gundam Thunderbolt, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans and classic Gundams like Zeta Gundam and the RX-78-2 Gundam. It features mobility options for each mobile suit, such as side steps, dashes and air dashes as well as assist “Strikes” to unlock and help you in the combat.

For all you social pilots out there, the game also features online multiplayer, with 3v3 and “Boss Hunt” modes so you can rock out in your favorite mobile suits with all your friends.

Gundam Versus will release for the west in fall 2017 for the PS4.
