Warhorse Studios is making a sequel to its open world RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is revealed with a 13-minute video featuring a teaser, new gameplay footage, and a deep dive featuring the developers. This was part of a global digital event.
This direct sequel to Kingdom Come: Deliverance will still feature protagonist Henry and the lands of 15th century Bohemia, specifically in the year 1403. Though you’ll be exploring two new maps. Expect to see locations like the Trosky Castle and the town of Kuttenberg, both located in modern day Czechia (previously Czech Republic).
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will have a revamped combat system. The first-person combat will be made more accessible while still true to being a realistic depiction of medieval martial arts. Though for this game, crossbows and early gunpowder weapons are added.
As the game is an RPG, expect to still make choices and taking on quests with multiple ways to approach from. Who Henry ends up being is still up to your own choice.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will be out on PS5, PC and Xbox Series X|S later this year.
