Here’s All The Game Announcements At The Game Awards 2017

The Game Awards 2017 marked an improved showing for the awards show, the four hour has more exciting game announcements. From sequels to established franchises to new indie titles, there’s something for everyone to get excited about.

Here is all the announcements made at the Game Awards 2017:

World War Z

The novel turned movie is now turning into a video game. Expect to face fast-paced zombies in this game developed by Saber Interactive.

Vacation Simulator

Tired of simulating jobs in VR? Why not take a break and simulate a vacation in VR? The follow-up to Owlchemy Labs’ breakthrough VR title will arrive in 2018. This is their first game after being purchased by Google.

Accounting+

Another VR experience, but more surreal and bizarre. Developed by one half of the team behind The Stanley Parable and featuring voices from Rick & Morty’s Justin Roiland, this bizarre VR experience will be available for PS VR on December 19, featuring extra content not seen in the original PC version.

A Tease Of From Software’s New Game

A very short teaser trailer featuring some grotesque and the words “Shadows Die Twice”. That’s all we got.

The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild The Champions’ Ballad DLC

The second DLC in the Breath Of The Wild expansion pass adds more story content. You also can unlock a sweet bike for Link to ride once you’ve completed all the DLC. The best thing though, is that it was out just after it was announced. More announcements like this, please.

Soul Calibur VI

Welcome back to the stage of history. Harada-san introduced the new producer in charge of the long awaited sequel on stage and proceeds to show the very first trailer. Soul Calibur VI will take place in parallel of the original game’s timeline, so old favourites like Sophitia are back and characters like Mitsurugi look younger than ever.

Star Wars Battlefront II The Last Jedi Season

If you’re still playing Star Wars Battlefront II, there is some new content related to the upcoming The Lest Jedi movie out next week. This is part of the first season of content coming to the controversial shooter.

Fortnite Battle Royale 50 VS 50 Mode

Last team standing wins. Available for a limited time (until December 17), Fortnite Battle Royale is giving player a chance to a battle of grand proportions. So if the idea of building massive forts and siege the other with only one life, go ahead and try it out now.

Fade To Silence

A new game by THQNordic, featuring survival elements. It will be released really soon on December 14.

Bayonetta 1 & 2 On The Switch, Bayonetta 3 Is Switch Exclusive

After teasing throughout the year, it’s finally happening. Bayonetta 2 will be out on the Nintedno Switch on February 16, which will include a free copy of Bayonetta 1. In addition, Bayonetta 3 is confirmed to be real and will be out exclusively on the Switch.

Death Stranding’s New Trailer

Sea Of Thieves Release Date

Co-op pirate adventure game Sea Of Thieves is now ready for a full release. After long in development, Rare’s first non-Kinect game in years is set to sail on March 23 for the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.

Witchfire

What a brilliant bait-and-switch trailer. Witchfire is the new game from the The Astronauts, developers of The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter. They also developed Painkiller and Bulletstorm, and Witchfire follows closely to the latter two, a frantic twitch shooter.

A Way Out Release Date

Director of A Way Out Josef Fares unleashes his inner Tommy Wiseau on stage before proceeding to show the new trailer for this split-screen co-op adventure. It will be out on March 20,. But best of all, if you want to play co-op online with a friend, you can share the game, no need to buy two copies.

Dreams

Media Molecule’s latest sandbox game has been quiet for some time. Now it looks like the game is finally ready to launch sometime in 2018.

GTFO

No don’t close that tab, it’s the name of a new co-op FPS with horror elements from the makers of Payday. Some of the folks behind the game went indie to make this interesting game, which now has some look at what the gameplay will be.

Metro Exodus

Another look at the upcoming Metro sequel, where it is all about going out of the deep subways, hoping to find a better place in this post-apocalypse world. While the E3 reveal trailer shows gameplay, the one at the Game Awards is more cinematic, showcasing the tone of the new game coming in 2018.
