Head’s Up: Overwatch’s Competitive Mode Is Live On PC, Coming To Consoles Soon

Do you play to win? Now’s the chance to up your Overwatch game up with the introduction of Competitive Mode. After being held from release after all the constructive criticisms received during the closed beta, developers Blizzard are now ready to launch it after some testing available to everyone on PC on the Public Test Realm.

But what about consoles? In a forum post it was clarified that it will be coming in probably next week. On consoles there is certification process before a patch can be issued, so the minor adjustments like the balancing changes to McCree and Widowmaker, plus the console-only nerfing of Torbjorn’s turret, will all rolled up into the competitive mode update.
