Halo: Reach, the last Halo game developed by Bungie, is now part of the Master Chief Collection remaster and out on Xbox One and PC.
This is the first time the game will be playable on PC. The remaster includes support for 60fps (or more), 4K resolution and various settings to tweak, as you would expect. Halo: Reach is available on Steam for RM23.50, or as part of the Master Chief Collection for RM65. It’s also available on Microsoft Store and on Xbox Game Pass For PC.
Halo: Reach is the first game for the Master Chief Collection on PC. Over the coming months, Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4 will be added, in that order.
As for Xbox One, current owners of the Master Chief Collection will need to buy the Halo: Reach campaign and Firefight as separate DLC. But if you haven’t, the Master Chief Collection will now include Halo: Reach in full as well as Halo 3: ODST which was also additional, separate DLC. It’s also on Xbox Game Pass For Console.
Halo: Reach was received well back when it was first released. Now at a cheap price and on PC, it’s the best time to give it a go if you haven’t tried it yet.
