Ghost Of Tsushima’s Co-Op Mode Arrives On October 16 Alongside New Game+

Ghost Of Tsushima is a pretty decent single-player romp, and nobody expected it to get a free co-op mulitplayer mode added in an upcoming update.

Called Ghost Of Tsushima: Legends, the co-op mode now has a release date. It will be part of the version 1.1 update, alongside other additions.

Legends will feature two-player story missions, as well as four-player survival missions (with raids coming a few weeks after the 1.1 update). Legends require you to claim it on the PS Store- for free. But after that, you can enter Legends within the single-player mode by finding Gyozen, a new character that appears in Tsushima that will bring you to the lobby.

You can customise the four playable classes (Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, Assassin) to your liking, and everything is earnable by playing, no microtransactions. There are emotes, and should your buddies opt-in as well, you can also enter photo mode in this mode too.

As for the single-player game, it will now have New Game+, which carries over all unlocks to a fresh new playthrough. All the rewards you already have earned for completing quests will now be replaced by Ghost Flowers, a new currency used to buy new cosmetic and dye colours at a new merchant. This new merchant also sells new charms.

And also, there’s one new quality of life update: the ability to save loadouts for your favourite charms combination. And lastly, new additions to the photo mode has been added too.

Ghost Of Tsushima: Legends and New Game+ for Ghost Of Tsushima arrives on October 16 as a free update, version 1.1. Check out our review of Ghost Of Tsushima here.
