Sega and Amplitude Studios are offering Endless Legend, the brilliant 4X game that’s part of the wider Endless universe, for free.
This is the second time this year Endless Legend is being offered for the low, low price of free.
But this time, it’s less of a hassle. All you have to do is go to the Steam page, and claim it. It’s free to keep. No need to login or sign up for an account other than a Steam account.
The offer is available from May 16-23, 1 PM EDT (May 24, 1 AM Malaysia Time, +8 GMT).
Endless Legend is one of the great 4X strategy games that is still fun to play today. It’s claim to fame is its asymmetric factions, which brings an entirely different playstyle. From the faction that cannot engage in diplomacy so they are at war with everyone to the faction that don’t need food to grow but must manually consume dust (i.e. money in the Endless universe) to create more population, as well as a faction that cannot found more than 1 city ala Civilization V’s Venice.
Like many strategy games, Endless Legends has a boatload of DLC packs, which is likely why the base game can afford to go free for a limited time. The many DLC packs are also on sale too right now too.
