Today (13th November 2015) GameStart Asia 2015 harbours its mighty curtain for the second time. It’s said two times bigger and better than before, it does certainly has a lot of surprises awaiting the visitors for the event.
The event was inaugurated with the first speech by Elicia Lee, Director of GameStart Asia, stated that the breadth of this exhibition is doubled this time compared from last year, thus many game companies and studios will showcase their latest game lists.
Gold Partner from last year’s GameStart also participate once more this year along with PlayStation and Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia.
Then, the event welcomed Oda Hiroyuki, the Deputy President of Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia, to give his speech.
He stated that the PlayStation 4 console sales increased dramatically, particularly in Asian markets. To improve the performance of PlayStation marketing, Sony will now vigorously support gaming events such as GameStart especially in Asia.
Events such as Thailand Gameshow and E-Sports & Gaming Summit on the last October. The PlayStation booth is also larger and more interactive than before, not to mention new games demo like Gravity Rush Remastered, Need For Speed, Star Wars: Battlefront, Guitar Hero Live, Fallout 4, Bloodborne The Old Hunters and also the new gadget, PlayStation VR.
Demo like Street Fighter V is also available. This makes it the first demo that is ever done in Asia.
More intel about Gravity Rush Remastered and Street Fighter IV will be made on Saturday and Sunday.
In the last speech by Rainel Tan, the General Manager of Namco Bandai Entertainment America, said that Dark Souls III demo will be presented to the public in this event.
So, it is indeed the first ever demo that was made in Asia. Other demos will also be presented, such as Just Cause 3, Naruto and Gundam that are also to be translated into English language for the first time ever.
