Forza Horizon 2 Is Getting Delisted From The Xbox Store

"End Of Life"

Forza Horizon 2 is getting de-listed from the Xbox Store after September 30th. That means you cannot buy the game digitally anymore from that date onwards.

This was mentioned in passing on the Forza weekly update blog, stating that the game is reaching “end of life” status.

“A heads up for the Forza community: Forza Horizon 2 will reach “end of life” status on September 30. That means that the game and its associated DLC will no longer be available for purchase.

After September 30, players who own Forza Horizon 2 will still able to download and play the game and its associated content as normal. However, Forza Horizon 2 and its DLC will no longer be for sale.”

The first Forza Horizon, released in 2012, also had a similar fate where it is no longer sold digitally after October 20th, 2016. So it fits the pattern that after five years, it’s time for Horizon 2 to be delisted as well.

Forza Horizon 2 is part of the Games For Gold offer this month where active Xbox Live Gold subscribers get to add free games to collection similar to PS Plus. So that’s your last chance to grab the open-world racer for the Xbox 360, which is backwards-compatible with the Xbox One.
