To no one’s surprise, Final Fantasy XV is now confirmed to be heading to PC. Revealed on Nvidia’s scheduled broadcast for gamescom, the action RPG featuring four boys easily passed as anime boyband members embark on a journey to reclaim the throne of their kingdom. It starts all cheery and fun, but the road trip eventually gets serious.
Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition, as it’s called, will include all the current DLCs in the season pass, and will see the game supporting up to 4K resolution and HDR.

This is not a total surprise, Game Director Hajime Tabata has openly spoken about the idea of a PC port, several promotional images leaked that it may launch on PC, and even the game itself features credits for Nvidia Gameworks already. As seen in the trailer, Gameworks are utilised here in full force, and of course the lovely hairs will be powered by Nvidia HairWorks.
Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition will be available on Steam, Origin and the Windows Store in 2018.
