Scorn, the upcoming game by Ebb Software set in the nightmarish universe of odd forms and sombre tapestry, is for sure releasing this October.
The first-person horror game has shown another new trailer at the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022, and a longer gameplay breakdown at the PC Gaming Show.
The short, 1-minute, cut has music by Health backing its beautiful and/or creepy imagery. While the longer gameplay breakdown has the narration of the voice of horror, Doug Bradley, selling you on the points that make Scorn different to any horror game you’ve played before.
For instance, Scorn’s story isn’t told with voice acting and despite having weapons it’s not a straight-up shooter. Though combat encounters are a thing in the game.
Scorn is now slated for an October 21 release, just in time for Halloween, and coming to PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store) and Xbox Series X|S. The game will also be available day-1 on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
