Dragon’s Dogma 2 has sold more than 2.5 million copies since its launch, Capcom announced.
The latest entry to the systems-heavy open world action RPG was just released about two weeks ago.
This has also pushed the entire Dragon’s Dogma series, which consists of one mainline game before Dragon’s Dogma 2, to surpass 10 million copies.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 eschews conventional open world game design trends for its own take on an open world RPG. There’s no multiplayer, but players can create pawns, AI-control companions, and recruit pawns created by other players in your party. Fast travel is limited. Characters, even ones important to quests, can seemingly die. The game relies heavy on various systems interact to create memorable experiences.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is out now on PS5, PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X|S.
