Doom Eternal Delayed Until March 2020, Switch Version Date TBA

Rippers and Tearers of demons will have to wait a little longer for Doom Eternal, as the official Doom account announced a delay in the game’s launch today.

In a tweet, the official Doom twitter announced the game would be delayed until March 20, 2020 with the Switch port getting announced at a later date.

On top of the delay, the developers announced that the game’s Invasion mode, a mode similar to the invasions in Dark Souls, would not ship with the game and would instead come as a free update.

However, it’s not all bad news as users who pre-order Doom Eternal can redeem a free copy of Doom 64.

While the tweet by the official Doom Twitter says the offer extends to Nintendo Switch users, at the time of writing the game is not available for pre-order.
