Tuxedo Labs’ Teardown, the voxel-based destruction sandbox and puzzle game, has received its 0.9 game update.
The update brings in the second half of the campaign, so it’s now completed. The update also brings in new locations to engage in your tearing down business, new mission types to test your brain in controlled destruction, new tools and even robots.
The Steam blog post (as well as the update version number) indicates this is the penultimate update before Teardown leaves Early Access.
Teardown lets you destroy buildings and vehicles in any way you like. The main campaign however turns it into a puzzler where you need to plan out heists before executing it in a limited time. It is a clever use of the destruction system (destroy too much and it would ruin your run), and it has one heck of a destruction system.
Teardown is currently available on Steam Early Access.
