Corruption 2029 Is A New Strategy Tactics Game From The Makers Of Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden, Coming Out This February

The Bearded Ladies, the developers behind Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden, has announced a new game. And it’s coming out in two weeks time. That’s a quick announce-to-release time window.

Corruption 2029 is a strategy tactics game where you control a squad of heavily augmented soldiers fighting against the current inhuman, and corrupted, regime that controls America.

In other words, it’s like XCOM 2 but the evildoers are not aliens. In fact, if you like XCOM 2, you might like the near-future aesthetic Corruption 2029 is going for here. But stealth, and scoping the environment before engaging with enemies, is being more emphasized.

Take a look at the trailer here:

Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden was a mix of RPG but with a strategy tactics-style combat, where you can take cover. So to see the developers’ next game to fully embrace the strategy aspects is interesting. More interesting is how it’s almost out already.

Corruption 2029 will be out on February 17th for the PC via the Epic Games Store.
