Capcom Showcase Coming Next Week

Capcom has announced that it will be hosting a Capcom Showcase, the publisher’s own livestream event, next week. Consider this one more livestream show under the ever-growing Summer Game Fest (or the summer video game announcements block).

The Capcom Showcase 2023 will be held on June 12, 3 PM PDT (June 13 6 AM Malaysia Time, +8 GMT). The runtime is about 36 minutes. The show will focus on celebrating the Japanese publisher’s 40th anniversary.

As for what games to expect, that’s the big question. Capcom has just released two of its big game releases (Resident Evil 4, Street Fighter 6) as well as the previously announced remasters (Ghost Trick, Mega Man Battle Network). Only Exoprimal, slated for release in July, has yet to come out.

There is one game that’s still far from release that we recently see a glimpse of, Dragon’s Dogma 2. And remember Pragmata? The game was initially revealed back when the PS5 was announced three years ago? That’s set to come out in 2023.

There could plenty of big surprises here at this upcoming Capcom Showcase, is what we gather. Or it could just be announcements of more remasters. Whatever the case, if you’re a Capcom fan, you might want to keep an eye on this showcase.
