Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare Announced Alongside Modern Warfare Remaster

Activision just announced this year’s Call Of Duty game. The huge AAA FPS series now has a rotation of several studios handling development and this year it’s Infinty Ward’s turn to shine. The original studio that started the series, and the ones that brought the series to modern times with Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, the latest takes the series to space.

While the core shooting looks to be having similar vibes of what a Call Of Duty game is, the additions of space as a setting, it could bring new things to the formula this time around. Zero G gunfights? Why not?

It seems the series is getting more ahead of time each entry. Check out the reveal trailer here:

Also revealed in the announcement is the remastered edition of Modern Warfare which for now is available as a preorder bonus for Legacy and Digital Deluxe editions of Infinite Warfare. The remaster will only include 10 multiplayer maps from the original.

UPDATE 3/5/16: According to the FAQ page for the Modern Warfare Remaster, the game is a digital download and only available as preorder bonuses for the moment being. You cannot purchase the game separately on launch.

Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare is set to release on November 4 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
