Arkham Asylum was a breakthrough hit for Rocksteady, which not only managed to make a superhero game to not be bad like most games of its ilk is cursed to, but also made it great as a standalone game. Arkham City further perfected the gameplay by introducing open-world elements.
The remaster, titled Batman: Return To Arkham, is not just a rerelease. Chinese studio Virtuos has ported the games that were running on the Unreal 3 engine to Unreal 4. All DLCs released with the two games will be bundled as well.
It is noted that Batman: Arkham Origins by WB Games Montreal is not included in Return to Arkham.

Batman: Return To Arkham will be released on July 29th for the PS4 and the Xbox One.
