Age Of Empires IV Announced, Developed By Relic

Remember at E3 2017 when everyone was excited about a new Age Of Empires game and it turned out to just be a remaster? Well, now Microsoft is finally ready to announce a full sequel.

Age Of Empires IV is developed by Relic Entertainment, of Warhammer 40,ooo Dawn Of War and Company Of Heroes fame. Microsoft has again tapped into Sega’s stable of strategy games developers to help with their titles, similar to how the Halo Wars series being developed by Creative Assembly, another Sega studio.

The teaser showcased various empires across many timelines, from the early Roman Empire to Native American tribes to the Shogunate era.

No release window is announced just yet. The game will unfortunately by released exclusively on the Windows Store.
