42 Million Vehicles Imported From The Crew 2 To The Crew Motorfest During Launch Week

Ubisoft has announced That The Crew Motofest is the biggest launch for the series ever. From being the highest rated title in the franchise so far, to having the best first week for the series in terms of “total unit sell through, overall consumer spend, and season pass adoption rate.”

Ubisoft is being coy with disclosing numbers. But we do have one stat. The number of vehicles being imported from The Crew 2 to The Crew Motorfest via the Collections Import feature is at 42 million, at the time of writing.

Each player can have at least one to under 600 vehicles to import. But the fact that this is a one-time-use feature means that this feature, unseen in any modern racing game, has been properly utilised. The huge numbers mean there’s a lot of active The Crew 2 players migrating to The Crew Motorfest.

Ubisoft’s long-term investment on The Crew 2, which had nine seasons of post-launch content, is paying off. Developer Ubisoft Ivory Tower has upped their game with Motorfest (the improved handling physics is very much welcomed), and fans of the franchise in return have supported the title right here at launch week. They came in in droves to drive around Honolulu.

The Crew Motorfest is out now on PS5, PC (Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store) and Xbox Series X|S.
